Two things this page is demonstrating
The filter matters more than the feed. San José Spotlight is a general local newsroom, not a business desk. Flip the toggle to “Everything” and you will see what an unfiltered feed would put on a Chamber page. That is the editorial problem, and it is solvable, but it is not automatic.
It never goes blank. If the live pull fails, the page falls back to the last good copy instead of showing an empty box. A feed that breaks quietly is worse than no feed at all.
What it would take on the real site
This mockup pulls the feeds live through a free public converter, which is fine for a demo but not something to depend on. On the real WordPress site it should be a scheduled server-side job that fetches and caches the feeds itself, or an RSS plugin. Not difficult, but not a copy-and-paste embed either.
The same cached feed can also assemble a weekly email, which is what actually builds the habit. The page is the destination; the email is what reminds people it exists.
